Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive Recruiter/HR Specialist to join our team. You will find and engage top talent to support our aggressive growth plans. You'll be at the heart of building a team that's committed to educational excellence and innovation.

Responsibilities:

• Design and implement hiring strategies to attract highly qualified candidates for both teaching and administrative roles.
• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, from sourcing to onboarding.
• Utilize various channels to build a rich candidate pipeline, including job boards, social media platforms, and professional networks.
• Coordinate with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and deliver against tight deadlines.
• Foster a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment cycle.
• Contribute to employer branding initiatives to position Genie Academy as an employer of choice.
• Use Topgrading methodology to prescreen and hire candidates.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of recruitment experience, preferably in the education sector.
• Familiarity with recruitment platforms and Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting.
• Proficiency in English, both written and verbal.
• Familiarity with Topgrading is huge plus.
• Ability to work from 11am-8pm EST Timezone. (New York)
